Zur Person:

  • Soprano Renata Peliskova was born in Brno, Czech Rerpublic.
  • Since her childhood she has been in touch with music and art. At that time she was a member of the famous choir "Children of Brno", where she obtained a profound music education by being near to
    Prof. Dr. Frantisek Lysek.
  • During that period she was studying music theory, piano and classical singing. She finished her first piano diploma at the Music School of Brno.
  • Renata Peliskova then studied classical philology at the University of Brno (achieving a Master's Degree) and decided to start her professional training of singing with Prof. B. Burjan in Brno.
  • After moving to Greece in 1968 she worked as a music and piano teacher in Thessaloniki. She realized her own music projects in Radio Thessaloniki and participated in chamber music projects.
  • In Basel (Switzerland) she encountered belcanto singer Stefka Todorova, originally from Sofia, and with her she completed her music studies (SMPV). After Stefka Todorovas death she worked with Laura Sarti in Paris and was regularly giving concerts in Europe.
  • Renata Peliskova's interests in the fundamental qualities of music and art led her to discover the art of Eurythmy. She got her training in Dornach (Switzerland), and finished with a diploma.
  • In 1999 she started to develop other artistic projects of her own, such as "The Living Voice" and "Eurythmy – A Path of Transformation". She sung with chamber music partners in Switzerland, Spain, and Greece. For and with very small children she developed a creative educations program in Switzerland, Spain, Spain, Greece, and the Czech Republic, featuring among others the project "A Little Paradise". She also gives Eurythmy courses for adults based on different languages and types of music.
  • Renata Peliskova took part in master classes from Laura Sarti, Dalton Balwuin, and Montserrat Caballé.
  • Her interest is presently focused on chamber music and opera.
